If Applicant Loses In Court, It May Affect The Possibility Of Being Granted Other Visas

Care needs to be taken about whether to go to judicial review, because if one loses ordinarily costs will be awarded against the unsuccessful applicant.  Then PIC 4004 applies which reads:

The applicant does not have outstanding debts to the Commonwealth unless the Minister is satisfied that appropriate arrangements have been made for payment.

Clients need to be warned of this in advice about judicial review
