- Understand skilled visas and the various pathways available, including the transition from student visas, to determine which visa will best suit clients’ needs
- Understand the role of the state and territory governments and identify the information required for submissions to each authority
- Learn the complex problems that can arise from the skilled visas regime and how they can be solved
- Discover the path to permanent residence for clients and determine how this may be achieved via the skilled visas regime
- Understand and apply the merit review regime where applicable
- Increase overall knowledge and understanding of Skilled Visas in order to improve professional practice and client outcomes
